Team Lapierre Gravity Enduro - EWS La Thuile

The Enduro World Series has become famous for the best riders in the world battling it out in some of the most breath taking scenery on the glove. The fourth round set in the Italian Alps of the La Thuile region was no different.

A rider favourite; the trails are long, rough and technical an exciting challenge for Team Lapierre riders; Nico Vouilloz, Rae Morrison and Adien Dailly.

After a few days of practise it was straight into the action for our SixSixOne supported riders as they mentally prepared themselves for the days ahead... Enduro is a serious business...

Quality practise time was met with calmed nerves as riders took to the timed stages early Saturday morning.

Results in from day one...Although looking strong and fast, Rae Morrison crashed on Stage 1 injuring her shoulder and having to retire from the race.

More bad news for Nico who fell ill before the race and struggled through day 1.

Great news however for U21 Enduro start Adrien Dailly who smashed his dominance onto the leader board and claimed all three stage wins on day one! Mighty impressive performance for the young 18 year old ripper.

Day 2 was met with the hard decision for Nico to retire from the race.. With the team performance down to Adrien, he rode hard and again dominated with 2 stage wins... a small mistake on the last stage didn't phase him as he crossed the line to take the overall U21 win by over 20seconds... Amazing!

Kudos to Adrien and healing vibes to Rae and Nico who we hope we be back to full speed ready for the next round in Aspen, Snowmass at the end of this month.

Team Lapierre Gravity are running our Evo Compression, Rage & Recon Knee protection along with trail Evo AM helmets depending on the terrain. Always rad to see our products performing on the world stage!
